First Fridays at the Farm
Join us on the First Friday of each month this summer and fall as we celebrate fellowship and local food! Each month a local food item will be highlighted at a Farm fresh dinner, here in the barn! The doors open at 5:30pm and BYOB is always welcome! Walk the fields, visit with the farm animals, and enjoy all the farm has to offer! Adults are $12 each or 2 for $20, children 10 and under are $8 each.
Monthly menus will be posted on our Facebook page and through local media. Stop in June 3rd, July 1st, August 5th, September 2nd, and October 7th to enjoy a relaxing evening at Morris Farm!

Join the Dam Jam Fiddlers practice. They play a mix of New England Contra Dance, Quebecois, Irish, Scottish, and old time tunes. Intermediate and advanced level jam, but all levels and ages welcome. Call Nancy Parker 207-563-8455.

2nd & 4th Thursdays, 5:30pm

For all levels! Beginners can learn how to spin with the support of a knowledgeable group. More experienced folks: practice spinning for knitting or any other related fiber craft while in good company.

Earring Workshop with Barbara Gage
Saturday, November 6th, 2021, 11-1pm
Sign up before Friday, October 29th
$25 for course, $5 for materials
Class Size: 10-12
Come learn how to make different styles of earrings! You will choose/ make headpins, bead caps, wires - and select your beads or wire to make 3 different pairs of earrings. Supplies will be provided. Design examples are shown below!

We will be creating cards using various fun scrapbooking materials for the holidays or any special event you have coming up. Each participant will take home 5 of their handicraft cards with them to send to friends and family or to keep for their own personal viewing/displaying pleasure.
Basket Weaving with Maré LaMay

Class size: 10
In this class, we will be weaving a traditional market basket. This basket is approximately 10"x14" which can be used for the garden when harvesting veggies/ flowers. It can also be used to store newspapers, magazines. This type of basket can be filled with greens/ pinecones for holiday, kindling wood near a wood stove or filled with gifts for holiday giving.
This basket will be woven in a 3-hour class. All supplies and a pattern for the basket are included in the class. You will learn the over/under technique of weaving, plus twining, and adding your own design. Information about additional materials will be provided prior to the class.

The gardening season begins in May, after the plots have been tilled. (No till gardening is also available, if properly maintained.) To rent a plot call the office at 882-4080.
